Perti, Tootsie Roll and Sherbert: The White's Tree Frogs

Litoria caerulea

White's tree frogs are pretty incredible. They produce a substance in their mucus that kills HIV cells. Because amphibians don't have scales, their skin is left unprotected from the outside environment. Each frog produces it's own unique mucus that have properties that kill bacterias, viruses and other stuff that might try to live on their damp skin. Many of these secretions have proven to be useful against many viruses that effect humans.
